Significance of Independence Day

Last June 12, 2018 we again celebrated the Philippine Independence Day. It's been 120 years since this event was started to be celebrate. But does it important to us Filipinos? Why do we celebrate Independence Day?

At the year 1898, the Filipinos finally got free to the invaders of the Philippines. The sufferings and sacrifices of the Filipinos ended. We become liberate because of the hardship of our heroes. They fought and spent their lives just for the Philippines to be free.

It is important for us to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day to reminisce the hardship of our dear Philippine Heroes. In this way we can show our honor and love to them. And by celebrating this event it will inspire us to become tough and fight for our rights.
